What should clients know about working with you?
I have always known that I wanted to be in the helping profession making a meaningful and impactful contribution in others’ lives. With an immense amount of passion for this career and my own personal therapeutic experience, I believe that it allows me to hold space and empathize with clients in a unique and powerful way. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where my clients never feel alone within the process. I view therapy as a co-investigative process, where you and I look together, with curiosity and compassion, at the parts that are shaping your emotional life.
What is your approach to therapy?
I believe the combination of a supportive therapeutic relationship, desire to change deeply rooted limiting beliefs and gentle guidance can lead to meaningful life, transformations, and healing. By utilizing Internal Family System techniques, Person-centered and Cognitive Behavioral approach with a trauma-focused lens, I strive to help you understand what you’re feeling, why and how to cope.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
My core values are compassion, dedication, and genuineness. I think that it’s so important to have a sincere interest in the welfare of others and to have a safe space where clients are met with compassion and never feel judged to share all parts of themselves. I believe that it is essential for clients to feel confident that they are under the care of a therapist who is committed to walking through their journey along with them.
