About Me
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Licensed States: New York
What should clients know about working with you?
My passion has always geared toward a desire to assist others in helping themselves. I believe that everyone should be able to positively live their lives and achieve their goals! Past conflicts, present concerns, trauma, inter/intrapersonal difficulties - all of these can be so difficult to engage. They do not always have to be. In therapy, we will work collaboratively together to identify and process these thoughts and emotions. It is my biggest hope that I will be able to facilitate and assist in your journey to healing, whatever that may look like!
What is your approach to therapy?
Unhelpful thinking patterns greatly impact feelings about what we experience. I can help identify these patterns, while offering practical coping skills and a personable approach. I often implement techniques from Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused and Person-Centered therapies during sessions. I enjoy providing support to my clients to encourage their growth and manage challenges they face. I have been told that I approach clients with compassion, understanding and dedication to walk with them to reach solutions.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
My core values are honesty, empathy, and compassion. Everyone is unique, and deserves to be heard and respected on their own terms. I believe this creates a mutual partnership, during which we will create meaningful changes to benefit your life.
