What was your path to becoming a therapist?
I entered the field as a mental health counselor because I understand that mental health in children was not mentioned or brought up in many families and schools. However, it is something that needs to be addressed. My hope is to be a therapist that is able to provide help to children and work with the multiple settings where their development and growth is impacted to bring on a more lasting change.

While in this pathway, I've also gained experience in providing individual and group therapy to adults with concerns such as relationships and self-esteem. Life is not an easy road, especially during life transitions. New worries come with every stage, and it can feel helpless to face those challenges or panic that something is wrong. If you know the struggle has impacted your daily life, it is okay to talk with someone. Whether you are seeking help for your child, or yourself, I hope to offer you a safe space to explore yourself more in-depth without fear of judgment.
What should I know about working with you?
I will create and hold space for you to explore yourself more in-depth without fear of judgment, including but not limited to your thoughts, triggers, emotions, experiences, patterns of behavior, and relationships. We will work together to gain insight and knowledge and develop the skills necessary to reach your personal goals by using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Mindfulness.
How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?
My core values are understanding, empathy, trust, integrity, and equality. These values lead me to take particular care to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, so I prioritize working together with my clients to identify and achieve their goals. I will do my best to create a safe, welcoming space for my clients to share, feel safe, heard, and supported. Talking to a “stranger” about your story is not easy, but so is the journey of self-discovery and healing. As your therapist, I will strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible while empowering you to feel your best.
