About Me

Pronouns: She/Her/Hers

Pre-licensed State: New York

What was your path to becoming a therapist?

As a bicultural and trilingual therapist (English, Chinese, Mandarin, and Cantonese), I
recognize the silence around mental health in many families and cultures. However, it is something that is important to be addressed. I hope to be able to become one of the bridges who can offer a safe space to initiate these crucial conversations.

I specialize in working with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress and life transition management, self-esteem, and interpersonal skill development. Life is not an easy road, especially during life transitions. New worries come with every stage, and it can feel helpless to face those challenges on your own.  I hope to offer my clients a safe space to explore themselves in-depth without fear of judgment and work together to bring about lasting change.

What should I know about working with you?

I'm dedicated to empowering you to uncover and grow into a better version of yourself. With a passion for supporting my clients' growth and understanding, I offer personalized, holistic therapy tailored to your unique needs. Our collaborative work will focus on acquiring new skills to shift old patterns through a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Person-Centered Therapy. Together, we'll navigate your journey towards inner strength, self-acceptance, and actionable change by addressing both present challenges and past influences

How do your core values shape your approach to therapy?

My core values are understanding, empathy, trust, integrity, and equality. These values lead me to take particular care to build a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, so I prioritize working together with my clients to identify and achieve their goals. I will do my best to create a safe, welcoming space for my clients to share, feel safe, heard, and supported. Talking to a “stranger” about your story is not easy, but so is the journey of self-discovery and healing. As your therapist, I will strive to make you feel as comfortable as possible while empowering you to feel your best.
